Camera Press, 60 last year, and now the UK's leading independent picture agency is looking for someone to work on its editorial team, dealing with quality images from celebrity studio shoots through to hot news and features.
The ideal candidate should have picture editing experience, be hard working, enthusiastic, and a team player who is also able to take charge when required.
Key duties include:
* Editing the daily, mainly digital, photographic content, prioritizing where necessary.
* Dealing with freelance daily and studio photographers queries, passes, advice etc. and working on the photographers' diary when needed.
* Chasing stories and new photographers and contributing ideas to the team
Skills required:
* Excellent interpersonal skills and a real interest in news and celebrity photography, and of course, photographers.
* An understanding of digital technology, first class keyboard skills, accurate written English and a confident telephone manner.
* Good general knowledge and a keen interest in everything from current affairs through to celebrity gossip.
Salary according to experience.
